Full-Range Drivers w/ Class D Amplification + MaxxAudio

The HEOS 3 (HS2) employs two custom full-range drivers powered by a 2-channel Class D amplifier. The dual active wide-range drivers cover the full audio range, assisted via advanced DSP processing for a smooth, natural tonal balance. The two channels of Class D digital amplification provide high efficiency, low distortion ,and wide dynamic range. The rear-firing port adds bigger bass response from a smaller speaker. MaxxAudio uses psychoacoustic science and technologies in order to provide intelligent volume control, multi-band equalization, bass extension and spatial expansion for higher definition, deeper bass, crisper highs and an enveloping soundfield. Bass & Treble adjustments can be made from the HEOS app on your Apple iOS or Android device.
