One-touch listening with NFC

Enjoy simplified Bluetooth® connectivity with Near Field Communications (NFC) technology9. Align compatible devices and touch NFC logos to: activate Bluetooth, pair devices, and stream music. When done, align and touch the NFC logos to disconnect.

Easily access select smartphone apps7

The updated App Remote™ feature combines music & select smartphone apps7 into a single source list, controlled by phone or receiver; you can also control select sound settings. Content is displayed on your smartphone while audio plays through your speakers. Android™ users can also control sources and read & respond to texts or emails with voice control.

Versatile dual USB 1-wire inputs2

Connect, charge & control your Walkman®, iPod®/iPhone®3, Android™6, Blackberry®6 or other USB devices2 while accessing your digital music files via the dual USB inputs. File metadata is displayed on the front panel. Front USB port provides up to 1 amp output while the rear provides up to 2.1 amps for charging a wide variety of portable devices.

UV Resistant front panel coating protects faceplate to help prevent discoloration from the sun. Meets the standard for ASTM G154 for UV resistance.

5V RCA outputs for system expansion

When you’re ready to expand your system, the MEX-M70BT delivers strong 5 volt RCA pre-amp outputs for external front, rear and subwoofer amplifiers. The adjustable subwoofer level control also lets you dial in the bass when you’re ready to pump it up.
