    The Audio Solutions AS-HDMSP is the first in-line surge protector specifically designed for the HDMI™ interface. Its overall design methodology was determined by examining all the attributes necessary for a dynamic and robust interface. The Audio Solutions AS-HDMSP will withstand up to and including 8KV of voltage surge. It is active on all balanced line TMDS channels, including the clock channel. This device will defend against intruding voltage spikes that may damage HDMI™ components.
