The Acer 11.6" CB3-131-C3SZ 16GB Chromebook comes with a Chrome operating system to provide you with an enhanced Google computing experience. To power this OS, the Chromebook is outfitted with a 2.16 GHz Intel Celeron N2840 dual-core processor along with 2GB of DDR3L memory. The processor provides an integrated Intel HD Graphics engine that delivers a 1366 x 768 screen resolution to the 11.6" screen. With IPS technology, this display offers wide-viewing angles as well as accurate colors.

For storage, the Acer Chromebook sports a 16GB SSD, which delivers fast boot times and access to files, and an SD card reader for expanding the Chromebook's storage capacity. Additionally, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports are on board, so you can connect external storage drives and printers to the Chromebook.

The Chrome OS is built using Linux and runs web-based apps from the Google Chrome Web Store. This operating system comes with a Chrome web browser, media player, file explorer, and more. Moreover, you can create and save word documents and spreadsheets to the cloud or on the Chromebook.

The Chromebook connects to the Internet wirelessly at 802.11ac speeds, so you can watch online videos and run web apps. Once connected to the web, you can conduct video chats with the Chromebook's webcam, microphone, and speakers. Another built-in wireless feature is Bluetooth 4.0, which can be used for headsets. Other notable features include a headphone jack and HDMI port.
